How much do you charge for web design?

How long will my project take?
It really depends on the details involved. For web design project, we typically provide a detailed timeline for you at the start of the project. The average site takes 2-6 weeks to complete. However, your project could take as little as 1 week to many months depending on the project’s complexity, specifications, and the time it takes to receive all client input, content, approvals and our current design schedule for other clients.
Do we need to meet?
If you are located nearby, we certainly can. However, we can easily communicate and see your project through using email, phone and screencasts.
When and how do I pay for my website project?
Web design projects require a fifty-percent deposit plus domain registration fees (if applicable) and the remaining balance plus the first month’s hosting fees immediately prior to launch. All payments may be made in cash, money order or by credit/debit card. Company checks are accepted with a 5% fee that will be refunded upon full balance clearance.
Do you offer a discount for multiple- site purchase?
Yes. You may receive up to 20% off the total cost of all projects upon signing of contract.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, we do offer a referral program for closed business. Read more about our Referral Program.
How much do you charge to register a domain name? Can I purchase my own domain?
We charge $10 for each domain registration. Clients may purchase their own domains, but they must provide administrative access to domain nameserver (DNS) entries.
How many email accounts can I create?
Up to 50 Google-powered vanity email addresses (you@yourdomain.com) are provided complimentary with website design projects.
Do I need any special hardware or software to edit my website?
No. Our websites are developed with a web-based content management system (WordPress) that allows users to easily add and edit new content with any popular browser anywhere in the world.
Do you offer maintenance services?
Although our sites are designed to allow non-technical users to update and maintain their own sites, we do offer monthly maintenance contracts starting at $50/month.
How much traffic can I expect on my website? Will search engines be able to find my site?
We cannot guarantee a specific amount of traffic or search engine ranking. However, our code is search-engine optimized and your site will be visible to search engines. We are very knowledgeable about best practices for search engine marketing and optimization. We can offer you direction for additional steps you can take on your own to improve your ranking — in addition to the complimentary optimization services that come with all design projects.
Is hosting required?
We require a one-year hosting contract with all web design projects. After one year, you may transfer your hosting to another provider – as long as we have not been contracted to maintain your site. We recommend hosting with us, as it will ensure that your content management system and other related services stay updated and, should technical support be needed, we can easily resolve future technical issues.
What is a transparent logo and why is it required to design my website?
If your website header has a non-white background, a transparent logo will blend in with the site’s background or header color. It is required for a web design project to ensure that our creative team has the most design options available.
Can I accept payments on my website? Can I sell products in an online store?
We can develop your website to do either or both. However, e-commerce sites are hosted at $30/month.
